Alcohol Restriction in Northern Turkey
In the province of Kastamonu in the north of Turkey, for reducing alcohol consumption they made a new law.
In the province of Kastamonu, a new law has been brought of the use of alcoholic in public places have been restricted.
The Mayor, Yashar Karadeniz, emphasized that it was to prevent pollution and the increase of neighbour relations. Another reason why a restriction has been brought to avoid violence and crime. Karadeniz noted that the new rules are aimed to reduce the death rate of the population, not only from poor-quality alcohol but also from its excessive consumption.
“The new law will operate within the boundaries of the province. Drinking alcohol is prohibited in all public places, as well as in abandoned and unused buildings and in all vehicles, regardless of where they are parked ”said YasharKaradeniz.
In the province of Kastamonu in the north of Turkey the law on alcohol consumption has been revised. Drinking alcohol in public places is now prohibited.
The Mayor, Yashar Karadeniz, emphasized that this law would help reduce the amount of glass bottles and cans thrown away in public areas, more importantly reduce the death rate of the population caused by poor quality alcohol and its excessive consumption.
Drinking alcohol is now prohibited in all public places as well as in abandoned and unused buildings, also vehicles regardless of where they are parked.
