Required Documents and Conditions
You need to prepare the following documents for your sales transactions to be fast and smooth:
Title Deed: Original and photocopy of your property's title deed.
ID or Passport: Seller's ID card or passport.
Tax Number: You need to have a tax number for property sales in Turkey.
Mandatory Earthquake Insurance (DASK): Valid and up-to-date earthquake insurance policy.
Municipal Value Certificate: Document showing the official value of your home (obtained from the municipality).
Condominium Ownership or Construction Servitude Certificate: Document showing the status of the property in the title deed.
Power of Attorney (If Necessary): Notarized power of attorney if someone else will carry out the sales transactions.
Additional Information:
It should be checked whether there is a mortgage or debt on your property.
Title deed fees and other official expenses must be paid before the title deed transfer.
For sales to foreign buyers, an appraisal report from the General Directorate of Land Registry and Cadastre is mandatory.
