The fertile ground of Antalya area makes it possible for various plants to grow. The agricultural products growing are mostly wheat, oat and barley. In addition to that, there are cotton, sesame, onion, peanut and chickpea being grown on 35 hectares.

What it comes to growing products in greenhouses, Antalya is the most advanced city in Turkey. On 32 hectares there greenhouses in which tomatoes, peppers, beans, eggplants, cucumbers, cantaloupes and watermelons are being grown. They are sold as well in Turkey as abroad. Antalya is the region where most of the oranges and bananas grow in Turkey.

The main source of mandarins, lemons, and grape fruits is also Antalya region. Olive farming has also advanced greatly. Antalya is way ahead of other cities in growing of fruit such as apple, pear, plum, quince, peach, apricot, grapes, Tangerine, lemon, grapefruit are the leading sources of income of Antalya. Dates, carob, cranberry and lots of other fruit are also grown.
