Turkler

Turkler is about one hundred kilometres from Antalya and only 18 kilometres from Alanya. It is situated between the popular resort of Avsallar and the larger town of Konakli. It is a developing town and has seen some exciting projects begin to be built in this area. This means that now is the perfect time to purchase property before it reaches premium prices.  

What Are The Advantages To Buying A Property In Turkler?

Profitability: Buying property here whilst the town is still developing means that any apartment or villa you buy off-plan will quickly increase in price.   

Climate: The weather here in Turkler is typically Mediterranean with hot and humid summers, where temperatures regularly hit the forties during July and August. The winter months are characterised by sunny days followed by cooler nights. Through December and January, expect rain and occasional storms. Temperatures can range from 16 degrees to around 7 or 8 degrees. Some visitors prefer to come 'off season' during Spring or Autumn when it's slightly cooler and less humid.  

Beaches: The beaches in Turkler tend to be quite rocky with coarse sand. However, there are sections nearer to the hotels where the sand is soft and white. Where the entry into the sea is quite rocky, some hotels have built piers from which you can easily enter the warn turquoise sea and for a small fee, you can rent a bed and sunbathe. Quite close to Turkler is the world-famous Incekum beach, renowned for its super soft sand and shallow entry into the water. There are, of course, many free areas along the coastline here where you can sunbathe for free.  

Town Infrastructure: Turkler has a well-established infrastructure, so there are a wide range of shops, bars and restaurants as well as ATMs, pharmacies and a doctor's surgery. The central government and private hospitals are in Alanya alongside the private schools.  

Permanent Residence: There is a large group of ex-pats already living their best life in Turkler. Life is relaxed and very appealing, with activities taking place in Alanya itself to welcome new arrivals and help them integrate into their new life; buying a property worth $4000,000 (on title) or more also gives automatic Citizenship.9June 2022 updated fig.) Obtaining residency after your 90-day visa is finished is also an easy process.  

Transport Links: The D400 trunk road links all the major towns along the Antalya coastline, making travelling very easy and convenient. Antalya International airport is 100 km away and Gazipasa, Alanya's local airport, is only 63 km away. Transport links are very well established in this region with a wide range of transfer companies, car hire and taxis and the local bus service is efficient and regular.    

Recreational Activities: This area of Turkler and Alanya is full of activities to keep you and your family entertained. Water sports stations are dotted along the shoreline with thrill-seeking rides such as jet skis, parasailing, water skiing, banana boating, etc. Diving and fishing tours can be arranged at the local harbour alongside boat tours of the area, which are very popular. If you are even more adventurous, then the Taurus mountains offer a wide range of activities from tandem parachuting to hiking, gorge walking, white water rafting and canyoning. Nearby Alarahan is a beautiful place to visit and be at one with nature. Walking around this historical area is a real treat, perhaps followed by lunch in one of the floating restaurants.  

Archaeological Delights: Take a trip into Alanya town, which has many archaeological sites to captivate you. The castle hill is a stunning place to walk to or take the newly built cable car up to. It offers some fabulous panoramic views of the bay of Alanya and the rugged mountains. Within the boundary of the castle is the Red Tower and the Shipyards. Further afield is the town of Side, which has been likened to a living museum and is well worth a visit. Aspendos often has open-air opera and ballet, which are wonderful to see in such an atmospheric venue.  

What Types Of Property Are Available In Turkler?  

If you buy an apartment intending to place it on the rental market, you will find that the market here in Turkler is excellent. Your property will pay for itself in the coming years very quickly. Tourists are attracted to Turkler and your property will not remain empty for long. It is also an excellent investment to buy an apartment as a holiday home or permanent residence for your personal use. You will see a good return on your initial investment.
