The road to it passes through the picturesque Taurus Mountains and the gorge of the Dim mountain river , which separates the districts of Kestel and Tosmur. The Alanya region is home to many areas of antiquity such as Syedra and of course the Castle. If archaeology isn't your interest, then there are many water sports stations dotted along the coastline. For those of you who prefer a different kind of thrill seeking activity, then there are lots of companies offering gorge walking, hiking and water canyoning in the glorious Taurus mountains.
